Default Blazer Starting Problem

Went out to work on the camper the other day. Had to park the Blazer there for a bit to jump start the camper and left it idling for about 20 min. Got the camper started and shut off the Blazer while I did the required work on the camper. Went back to the Blazer to go home and it would turn over but would not start. Sounded like it wasn't getting any fuel. At this time it wasn't throwing any codes and there were none in the system when I checked. I checked all of the fuses and none were blown. Had a full tank of gas. I then changed out the fuel pump relays located in the glove compartment (both of them to be sure). No luck. I then changed the fuel filter. Before putting the new filter on though I turned it over with the filter off and didn't get any fuel squirting out of the line. Ok so maybe the fuel pump is bad. Got some help and towed it back home about 2 miles and made an appt with the mechanic. Went out to tow it to the garage tonite and just out of curiosity I turned it over and it fired right up like usual! It was throwing a code now which was P0753 Shift Solenoid Electrical A which I am kind of assuming tripped when we towed the stupid thing back to the house, but no other codes. The only other codes it ever throws are P0131 I think and P0401 neither of which have caused this problem before. Any ideas would be appreciated.

seems that I had the same issue. I had P0753 for a while until the engine won't start. Change the fuel filter and it starts ok but sometime struggling during 300-400. After changed the fuel filter, P0753 was gone. But since I already bot the 1-2 shift solenoid valve, it was changed during transmission fluid change.

no new code showing up now. I don't know if it because the starting issue was improved or the solenoid valve was changed.

It ended up being the fuel pump 700 dollars later it's fixed. I would have done it myself but I don't have the area or the time.

Pump was about 160, they broke the bleeder valve on the tank taking it off that was 30, they had to "diagnose" the problem that was 90, and then the labor to swap it was 400.

My 02 won't start again today. I hope not to spend $700 for a fuel pump.
