Can anyone tell me where I might find a Body valve separator plate for a 1980 Chevrolet K5 4W 350 engine. Have not been able to find this part for new transmission build. Thanks!

 

What transmission?

Your best bet might be a good used one from a transmission shop, or out of a junkyard transmission. Just out of curiosity, what happened to yours?

 

Found this one at a parts place but the shop doing the rebuild said it was not right. The old one had extra holes drilled into it and they said it caused it to shift roughly. I have searched for one over the internet and am not finding what I need. Any help would be appreciated. Also not completely sure the shop knows what to do. I am being patient with them but it has been several weeks with everything at a standstill. The mechanic is a great guy but also speaks limited English and it is hard to communicate but could not get into any other of the shops in rural East Texas for a couple of months.


****** The one pictured is the correct one. The parts store sent me one that did not match the photo. If anyone knows where I might find one like it, I would appreciate the lead.
