Bolting the 4.3L V6 to the 4L60E
Greetings!
I just signed up and I probably have a really easy question. I have purchased a 4.3L V6 and 4L60E combo out of a wrecked 2004 Blazer. I am putting the combo into a 56 ****** wagon. Once the transmission is bolted to the rear of the engine how do you bolt the torque converter to the flywheel? I see a small access port in the bottom area of the trans housing. That will allow me to get two wrenches up in there? And I'm assuming there is a torque value? And how do you get a torque wrench up in there? OK four questions....
Oh wait, 5. What are your general impressions about the 2004 engine/tranny combo? This was out of a 2WD Blazer and I am converting the ****** to 2WD.
Whoops, 6. Do you guys know of any vendor that sells decent wiring harnesses with purpose built ECM's?
Thanks a lot for your input!
Cheers!

Access convertor bolts through the location where the starter is. If you got the original harness and pcm with the engine you can send to Jims performance in Maryland and he will wire it as stand alone. He can also program pcm for you. cheaper then getting new harness.
