Can any of you please tell me what kind of oil a 1991 blazer takes?
Please tell me because I'm headin' out to St. Joseph and need some oil.

What does the cap say? Owner's manual? It should be either 5w30 or 10w30.

It probably is 5w30 or 10w30 really depends what kind of oil did you last use in your last oil change or what was priorly used??

These engines live just fine on any name brand conventional (non-synthetic) oil. Given where you live and the age of your engine I would recommend 5W30 weight, perhaps a 'high mileage' type oil.

Either 5w or 10w 30 weight will be fine in the winter. I'd step it up to 40 weight in the summer though.
