car slows down quick

No, I don't think it has any connection with your original problem. Have you had the transmission and catalytic converter checked like we suggested?

upper and lower ball joints should not really affect your acceleration all that much. I replaced mine and at most it just made it handle a little better.

I've recently got a magnaflow exhaust system muffler and pipes, and it actually ran much fater though the car still slows down fast. I'm really hoping it's not that big of a deal because I don't have $1200 for a transmission!!

let me know what happens.........think I got the same issue with mine as well
I found I have to give it more gas then the usual amount just to get it moving...

You should double check all your fluids, and make sure none smell burnt or anything like that...

If you can't remember them being changed, it might be a good idea to change them just because...

Also, is the A/C on?

The AC doesn't work! I'll check my e-gear tomorrow and update! could itbe a problem with my fuel system?

It could be... but not very likely, as you're not really using any fuel to slow down after you let go of the gas, you're practically freewheeling.

actually the car is killing gas full tank wouldn't last 4 days on an avarage daily drive!!

When you have the truck idleing, have you had the hood up and looked at your belt drive assembly?? You said your a.c. isn't working, but does the compressor pulley spin free when not engaged or does struggle to rotate????

will check that. BTW does a bad hub bearing has to do anything with the car speed?
