Default Changed Transmission Filter on 96 and now no power on take off

Just changed the transmission filter on my 96 blazer now it dont want to take off. It just revs and dont really go. We took it down the road and once you get going the power is back. But getting it moving is a slow process. The reverse is working fine.

Do you have all 4 forward gears? It sounds like you might not have 1st and are starting off in 2nd...

When you removed the old filter did you happen to remove the old filter seal that is up inside the trans and then install the new one?? Or just use the old one???

There was a gasket with the filter they changed that.
I had to put clear down in 1 to even get it back up on ramps.
Its not overdrive when doing this. It goes clear up to 3 on RPMs and then it will start going again. It seems to mel ike something isnt shifting right.
