Arrow Clutch adjustment?

The clutch pedal of my '94 Blazer (1st gen, manual trans) is pretty hard to push in, and it bites very late, when it's almost completely out. I can live with it, feels kind of tough and solid, but stop/go driving can be quite painful.

Is it supposed to be like this? Anything probably worn out or broken? Can any adjustments be made?

Time for a clutch overhaul.

Yay. Too bad a clutch is quite expensive.
