Default convert 2wd 4l60e to 4wd.

Can anyone tell me if this swap is do-able? Do you know how to go about it?

Sure it is. You basically rip all of the guts out of the transmission and swap the 4wd tail shaft in.

I would buy a 4WD model instead.

Default Clarification

Let me clear this up. I have a 4wd Blazer, it has a 4l60e that doesn't shift properly. I'm having trouble finding a used tranny that is already set up for 4wd but there are seveal trannys available from 2wd models. Can I alter the 2wd transmission to use in the 4wd application. I appreciate the responses, it is my fault that the question was not clearly stated. Swartek thank you.
