Default could my torque converter be bad?

Alright guys I was wondering if my torque converter could be bad because I can go out and drive my 98 blazer for 30 mins but then it acts like it doesn't wanna move its not free reving I can get it to drive but I'm just light on it. Its only been since yesturday but I haven't drove it since.
Any ideas?

Check the trans fluid level? Parked, level ground, engine running.
