CPI (spider) part number for '95 blazer
Cansomeone please tell me if 12568332 spider will work in a '95 Blazer? The price is much less than the 17113673 that the dealer quoted me at $552 wow what a shock. I've read a lot of the posts but most refer to newer models.
Thanks

This will not work for your truck. The first PN is for the 96+ SCFI motor only.
Check lindertech.com as they have a complete 91-95 "W" code spider repair kit that will include everything you need to do the job for $300 (+ s&h and $50 core for your spider). This includes the upper plenum gasket, spider w/ updated FPR, the internal 'nut kit' as well as a screened EGR gasket. You can find other manfacturers on Rockauto.com that have them cheaper, but it is the same old FPR design that is problem prone. The Lindertech spider has the updated FPR used on the newer SCFI spiders to help solve that problem.
GMPartsDirect.com lists the second PN for $287 (I think)... You should be able to get it from the dealer for around $325-$350 bargaining with them (especially knowing what GMPD.com sells it for).
I would not think twice about getting the kit from Lindertech.
