Default cranks but wont start

I have a 96 blazer 4x4. Its been giving me a problem starting for awhile. It would fire up then stall out crank it a couple more times then fire up and run completely fine. Then last night I was driving it for about 20 minutes then it stalled while driving. Wouldn't start so I left it and come back in the morning and it cranked but no start, sprayed starting fluid in it and fired up. Got back to my buddies changed fuel filter. Now it wont start at all. Just cranks. Its getting spark and fuel. Please help!

Is the check engine light on? and if it is, what codes does it have.

You say it has fuel and spark? What kind of fuel pressure do you have? is this a 4.3L with spider injectors... they tend to leak internal and flood.. have you pulled a spark plug to see what it looks like yet?

Help Us so that we can help you

The plugs are fine. I haven't domes pressure test yet. It is the spider injection. Fuel is getting to the motor. I pressed the valve on the fuel line a a good smooth of fuel came out.

If you are certain the plugs are good and not fouled(wet) you can disconnect the injector plug at the top of the intake and spray starting fluid in to see if it will run on that. If it does, then you definitely are having a fuel issue and most likely will need to remove the intake an examine the spider injectors.

I strongly suggest removing all spark plugs and looking at each one first.

No, dont do anything until you run a fuel pressure leakdown test. Some fuel pressure isnt enough.

The fact you immediately determined spark is good and it would run with starting fluid points to not enough pressure.

The FP should be 60 lbs key on engine off, and it should hold above 55 lbs or so for ten minutes.
