Question crazy ignition problem, etc...

I drove to the store today, when I shut off the switch My Jimmy kept running. after a few attempts to shut it down with the key, I looked under the hood. it seams like the coil was clicking, I pulled the plug wire, because that's the only thing I could think of. but the fan kept running, when I opened the fuse cover and discovered some southern engineering, and one wire that was supposed to be switched, that was shorted with the main lead. any way I got it temporarily fixed. when I got home I went to check to see if I had completed my drive cycle, using my Bluetooth obd II scanner, (which by the way I unplugged when the engine was running, but the switch was all the way off, I know that was bad) and a new code came up. It is now showing a p0758, in addition to the p0410 and the p0442. It isn't shifting right, I thought it was the vacuum leaks, causing it. but now I'm sure it is the shift solenoid. Did I cause this with the ignition mishap? Will this cost me a lot to fix? If I understand the solenoids are inside the tranny pan, which is within my abilities, but I don't have a place to work, so to the shop I go.

Default All better, I hope

From what I understand the ignition "glitch" caused the fault code. And if the info I got was correct, it would have reset itself after 3 "trips". I reset it manually, then took a trip to Autozone to get some stuff to fix and protect that funky circuit. every thing seams ok for now.
