distributor/firewall clearance
been years since I had a blazer, had a '78 that got stolen.
Now have a '90 I picked up a couple weeks ago, running a little rough especially at higher RPM, was going to replace cap/rotor/module/wires/plugs today and found the cap screws are ... screwed, the distributor body is stripped out where the cap screws thread in so cap is not secure to say the least. Got a new one on the way from summit, went back out to get stuff ready to make job quicker when it gets in and got to looking at clearance to firewall.
5.7 liter all stock, nothing really out of the ordinary about the vehicle
There is clearance to pull the dist. without having to move motor isn't there? just looks like it's gonna be close and thought I'd ask.
thanks for the info
