Default Distributor interchangeability
Needing to replace distributor in 01 Blazer with 4.3l V6, can I use one from 03 trailblazer EXT 4.2 L, I6?

Don't know for sure but I doubt it.

The easy way is to see if the part numbers for the dustrubutors are the same for both vehicles.

The Vortec 4200 I6 engine uses a coil on plug ignition system, i.e. distributorless ignition system. As such, there is not a distributor to remove from the '03 Trailblazer to put on your engine.
