Hello, I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer 4.3L with over 123,000 miles on it. I was thinking of using seafoam on it. I planned on spraying it down the throttle body with the red straw method. Does seafoaming your car do more bad than good?? I heard things like, you need to replace your spark plugs, change oil right away, seizes up motor, check engine light comes on, etc. Just wanna make sure it will help the car. Any suggestions on the seafoaming of my car will help. Is there anything you should do after you seafoam your car? thanks.

It's case specific (in a which works for you may work differently for me type way). Hands on personally all I ever got out of it was a couple minute smoke show with 0 gains and had a friend who did it to a Tahoe that afterwards developed a knock at startup and developed a smoking issue (and he followed the can instructions to the letter).

sea foam has many products BTW
Use as directed and should be no issues
After spraying anything in the intake I like to at least put in new spark plugs
I use sea foam fuel treatment in all my small engine fuel , weed wacker, lawn mower ,snow blower ETC straight fuel as well as premix
My motorcycle gets a heavy dose for storage
