engine stalls

ok, i have a friend who has a 1995 blazer 4x4. 4.3. he can start it up and let it idle fine, but soon as u press on the gas it dies, but u can start it rite back up, i was thinking fuel pressure regulator on the spider. what u guys think?

I think you should diagnose the fuel system before Throwing parts at it.

1st thought is TPS but as John (gio) said, run through that link 1st instead of tossing money in hopes of fixing it.
