Default Flexplate / flywheel

1985 2.8L changing from a flexplate to a flywheel. The flexplate has a thin disc where the six bolts attach. Do I need this plate on the flywheel? If someone can direct me to a parts lookup maybe I can look it up myself but I can't seem to find one.

Thanks, Kirk

You should just have to bolt the new flywheel on. Don't forget the throw out bearing/bushing!

Ok, thanks.
Here is a couple of shots of the project.
I'm putting the chevy v6 in an 1948 ford 8n farm tractor.

That little thin disc (shim) is just a spacer, I dont beleive there is one behind the flywheel, I think thats just on the automatic transmission trucks.
