Fuel lines won't go back in after fuel pressure regulator replacement
I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy 4.3L v6. I did a fuel regulator replacement and now my fuel lines wont go back into the spider fuel injector.
Someone said maybe replace the O rings inside the fuel injector, but I've also been told that I shouldn't need to..
Anyone have any experience or advice?

If the lines were pulled out of the spider without disconnecting them from the hardlines that run down the firewall, chances are that they are now bent out of shape and that is the reason for the resistance to reassembly. While not an easy task, the best way to get them back into the spider without damaging the lines, the spider, and/or the o-rings is to disconnect them at the back of the engine and remove the mounting bolt holding the short line set to the intake manifold, reinsert the lines into the spider, and then put things back together at the back of the engine. Many people have tried the shortcut of just flexing them out of the way only to run into the same situation as you find yourself in now.
When I did this it helped to lubricate both the fuel pipe and o-rings. I used engine oil and a q-tip. Also, I had to give the pipes a shove downward with the heel of my palm to get them fully seated.
I did the procedure described above by Swartlkk.
