Default Fuel not getting to engine

97 blazer 4x4
Hi, so Im not sure what else to fix. My blazer was running then all of a sudden it died at an intersection and hasnt run since
. It fires up but dies immediately (if i put ether in)
fuel pump was bad
Replaced it, the housing, fuel filter. Still doing the same thing. I dont know what else to do. The line pressurized, no air in it
my coworkers are telling me to junk it, but i love my blazer and would rather fix it than junk it
It does need a lot of work, and i cant throw money at it ***** nilly. I need be fairly certain the parts i buy are gonna work. Was told it was just the pump but clearly that wasnt true
any knowledge is helpful. I know a little, but not enough to figure this out.
thanks!

The first thing that you need to do is perform the fuel pressure test in the sticky. If you hold 55 psi for 10 min at the schrader you dont need to do the second part right now. You will need a fuel pressure test guage which some auto parts stores can lend you. If not then they are not too expensive on ebay.

Start it, if it will, stand beside the drivers door, listen for the pump motor. A bad ignition module will just suddenly die and if the spark is very weak, the engine might start on ether but not cold mostly liquid gaoline- ether is extremely volatile vapor, it takes much less spark energy to fire ether off.
