Fuel Pressure Regulator & Engine Coolant

Fuel Pressure Regulator & Engine Coolant
I have a 2001 Blazer with 95K miles that was haveing problems starting but ran great once it did start. I took it to the shop and they said that the problems was the fuel pressure regulator which they replaced. It starts and runs great now, but I took it straight home from the shop and the next morning I had a puddle of engine coolant under the vehicle. I took it back to the shop and they said the problem was with the intake manifold gasket.
My question is:
Is this something that could have been caused by the fuel regulator repair, is this just bad luck on my part? I've never had a problem with this shop, but it makes me wonder since the problem never occurred till the day I got the vehicle back. Any insight into this would be appreciated.

Bad luck. They would not have disturbed the intake manifold gaskets in the FPR replacement.

That's what I thought but wanted to make sure.
Thanks for the feedback.
