Fuel Pump Return Line Connector

Fuel Pump Return Line Connector
We dropped the fuel tank over the weekend to replace the fuel pump, but was unable to complete the replacement because the connector between the return line on the fuel pump and the fuel return line was kinked. The dealer gave me the part # 15109085 which is for the connector plus the fuel line. Has anyone encountered this issue? If so, did you end up finding a "donor" vehicle to pull this part or find it elsewhere? I've attached a picture of the connector.

yea i had that to but my line was cracked i bought a repair kit from Napa but it still didn`t work so i went to Ace Hardware and took the line with me to see if they had any rubber hoses that match it and they did, bought 2 feet of the rubber hose for 2 bucks and bought those clamps that you screw to tighten and problem was fixed. Mind you that i cut the hose to fit with a little slack but Kragens or Autozone sell rubber hoses that they sell by the foot. Worth checking out if money an issue. Good Luck

I would recomend that you check ebay for someone selling parts from a totaled blazer, contact them and see if they can help you. I usaully have a very high success rate of aquiring a unique parts I need from them. Just look for actions with a photo of a totaled blazer and a seller that is a salvage yard. I got lucky and replaced the exact same line for $5 plus $2 shipping.
Here are some examples but not necissarily who I use nor recomend. To save yourself time set up your vehicle in ebay's "my garage" for quicker compatibility.

I kinked one of mine back in October putting in a new pump in my '97 4wd but it seemed to straighten itself out when I reconnected it and it works ok so far. One thing about it is you can replace it later without removing the tank again so might be worth a try to see if it will work as it is. It is plastic and not copper so it shouldn't be permanent and I doubt it will crack and break just by kinking it.
