Unhappy Gas pedal sticks upon passing

I have a 95 T-10 Four door 4X4 VIN W Blazer.
When I put the pedal to the metal to pass, It sticks down. I disconnected the kick down cable and left the throttle cable and it does not stick. Are there any known problems with the Transmission kick down cables???? Thanks Rick.

It's possible that the cable may be frayed causing a hang-up or it just may be dirty?

could just be carbon buildup in the throttle body. Mine used to stick in the form of being hard to break loose from position 0 moving to accelerate. Once broken free it moved fine but once back at 0 it would stick.

Take a look at your throttle body and get a can of TB cleaner!
