I was Lookinginto the 5.7 Engine online. My Question is do you think its new or rebuilt, secondly would that fit into my truck and onto my engine mounts? All I know is i would need the pcm for the engine

RE: GMParts Direct Question
If I'm looking at the same one you're talking about, it appears to be brand new (better be for that price). As for swapping it in, check this web site.

Nope, I was looking at their crate engines. I can't tell about the engine you referenced whether it's new or rebuilt or even if it's a long block or short block. Better call them to be sure.

RE: GMParts Direct Question
You are looking at engines for the full size blazers, not the S-10 blazers.
As far as if it is a long or short block, doesn't say anything about it. Give them a call and see what they say.
Oh, and its not a real simple swap but doable.
