Well I figured out that Im getting 12 miles to a gallon sooo.. time for a tune up.. I have monday off (perks of being in the military) so tomorrow and monday whichever day I choose i gotta give the ole girl a tune up. Had it a year and hadnt done a tune up yet so I guess its getting new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor

Cost me about 80 bucks for everything. I used to work for Advanced Auto Parts before I joined the Army so Im on "military leave" so I still get my 20% employee discount there..

 

You lucky so and so. Wish i got employee discounts on parts, LOL.

Just as an aside, when has the fuel filter last been changed if ever? Might be something ya might want to change while your at it and it could give ya some economy back. That and of course an air filter but thats kinda a given.

 

Yeah that 20% is nice.. but even so I get a 10 % for military no matter what lol.. yeah i got a fuel filter too forgot to list i up there and I have a K&N drop in filter that i cleaned an oiled not to long ago

Yes indeed that is. I love it too, not too often if at all ya see 4 doors with those (seeing as GM thought it a wise idea not to offer it on the 4 doors as well as not offering the ZR2 package but thats anotherrant for another day). If you are interested im doing a write up here soon but im always willing to give pointers and forward my rough draft to anyone interested.

Guess ya didnt check ebay, LOL.LinkIt doesnt have the striker plate but im sure the stealership has em for not much.
