Default Hard 1-2 shift

Hi everyone,
I've tried looking all over for info on my problem but couldn't really find anyone with the same symptoms.
My auto trans is shifting VERY hard and late on the 1-2 shift. This only happens when everything is up to operating temperature. It's much worse when the shift happens at lower rpms. The blazer has 108000 miles on it. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Ck engine light on? Probably has code present. What year vehicle? 96 or newer will have P0741 or P1870 these are slip codes for torque converter or transmission component slipping. The computer is commanding high line pressure to compensate for slip. Giving you a harsh shift. Very very common problem.

Thanks for the responses guys (I've been without internet for a while). Replacing the worn valve body seemed to have done the job!
