Hard starting only when warm

When I first posted this thread, I had ruled out fuel pump & pulsator because they were so recently changed. I put up with this intermittent hard starting for eight more months and finally checked the fuel pump.

That was it. Changed fuel pump & pulsator last August. Starts right up immediately in any weather now.

Your problem of it being hard to turn over obviously has nothing to do with mine.

Clicking and not wanting to turn motor over is always battery or starter. How old is your battery? There's a date code and expected lifespan/warranty on the sticker someplace. Otherwise have the starter tested.

have you noticed that if you hold the throttle open it starts easier? my blazer is like that..

Actually, it's been fine since I last changed the fuel pump & pulsator.
