Default Has anyone tried Thermocure Evaporust for cooling system rust?

Hey, I drive a 2001 Blazer. 108,000 original miles on her.

I bought the truck a 2 1/2 years ago, with 103,000 miles. The truck had Dexcool orange coolant in it, and of course the whole cooling system had sludge and was absolutely disgusting. I flushed the whole cooling system 6 times, with prestone radiator cleaner and distilled water about a year and a half ago. It cleaned it out pretty good. I replaced the coolant with prestone green coolant.

Today I decided to replace the radiator cap just to do preventative maintenance, and found a little rust and sludge in the radiator still. Coolant is pretty clean, there is just a little bit of rust and sludge.

Wondering if I could use Thermocure Evaporust to tackle the rust and sludge. Has anyone used it, and did it work good? I see many good results from people all over on many different forums, but just wondering if it is safe to use.

thanks in advance!
