Default help

the truck is a 89' s10 blazer 4x4 4.3L. i need some help cuz im not sure what the problem might be. when i accelerate hard the engine will rev up really high but the power doesn't seem to transfer to the tires. is this just a sign of the tranny needing to be rebuilt or is it something else? thanks.

Yea, it sounds like it could be time for a rebuild. Question, you have made sure the Transmission Fluid is at the Proper level right ? Leaks?
