Angry Help

Just bought a 1997 4x4 LS Blazer automatic with 73,000 miles yesterday. Found out today when the check engine light came on that the tranny is slipping & upon pulling the dipstick noticed that there is sludge in the tranny. Mechanic suggested Trans X as a way to delay the inevitable. Does anyone know of a reliable online store where I could purchase a rebuilt tranny, or any suggestions on fixing this problem without replacing the tranny? Thank you in advance for any help!!

Wouldn't it be a 4L60E? I know it's really the same as a 700r4, but with his being a '97, it would need the electronic version.
