Default Help Please!

Alright guys I have a few problems with my 2000 chevy blazer sport that i need help answering. It seems like these started happening after i put my new muffler on it but i also hardly ever drove it before i did so i cant really blame it on the muffler

1. Alright when i first start the vehicle and the engine is cold or not warmed up fully and i go to take off it sounds like its sick. It dont want to rev over 1200 rpms and it takes forever to shift and before it does it will rev to the rpms in which my foot is accelerating then it will shift to second really hard. It also sounds like it is sorta cutting out. What could this be?

2. Problem two is the other day i decided to giver her hell in hopes to clean any carbon build up out so i was cruising about 55 and pushed her to the floor. the throttle respone was excellent but it just sped up and redlined and wouldnt shift to the next gear until i let out on the gas a tad. I thought this was unusual.

3. Also at all times my service engine light is on. Also a lot of time My break lights come on, Abs lights come on, and a few other lights will come on in my dash. And when i took it to advanced auto to get the codes ran, it wouldnt power up there unit. They said my plug in wasnt getting enough power. What could be the problem here?
