The High Output 4.3
Not sure how often this comes up, but.. Every now and then, (including at auto parts stores) it asks if there is the High Output engine. I am like???
What years?
VIN W? VIN Z? What?
Can anyone provide more info about the 4.3 "High Output?" I want one, and I just got an engine from a 98 in my 96...

1990 - 1992 LU4 option for Astro and Safari Vans.
Not worth looking. It's a TBI with 170 hp. at that time some 10 - 15 hp more than the regular option at 155-160 hp.
After 1994 they stepped up with every new engine from 170 - over 200 hp.
