how many spark plugs do i buy? (new driver)

Im buying spark plugs and like ive mentioned to you fellas is that im new to driving and everything .. i see spark plugs are pretty cheap and sponsored on this forum so i take it that there a big thing to the forum .. how many spark plugs do i buy? its under 10 bucks and i saw it sais each?

I would assume you have the vortec 4.3l V6 engine. V6 means there are 6 cylinders. Theres one spark plug per cylinder so you would need 6.

thanks man i feel uneducated by asking such a question but whatever


EDIT: does the spark plugs i buy matter what brand i buy? i see NGks for 2.69 each and E3s for 5.99 a plug... does it matter really?

get AC delcos. They work the best in our trucks

AC Rapidfires seem to be the choice for these trucks.

that may have sounded like an uneducated question but you gotta remember that engines like the new hemi's have 2 spark plugs per cylinder so no harm in asking.

whats the point of 2 per cylinder? better ignition and complete burning?

If you blazer is 1995 and older i would use standard acDelcos , but 1996 and newer i would use a AcDelco platinum plug.
