Hi, I have searched a bunch but could not find an answer. I hope to find help here. I have a 1994 Vin W 4.3 vortec it has a code TDS. I am trying to figure out what the TDS designates. I am using this engine in a conversion and the CA smog police care about how the smog components are configured. Any help is appreciated.

Where are you seeing the code?

 

It was on the paperwork I got with the engine, and on the vacuum line schematic.

Doesn't ring any bells. If it's a brand new crate engine, it might be some kind of production number used during manufacture of the engine, like an RPO code.
