Need help identifying part.
So my 2001 Blazer just started sounding like a deisel engine / motor cycle. I went to Autozone and they pulled the following code, P0410. I traced the problem down to a 3-way hose connection under the engine. I believe one of the hoses goes to the air pump.
This hose is broken and also the 3-way connection that looks like it was shot with pistol at close range.
Does anyone know where I can get this part replaced and or know of a free online parts catelog with diagrams of this? I will need at least one new hose and the 3 way connector.
Also can anyone explain to me what this system actually does? What are the other two hoses and why is it pumping air through them?
Also, any ideas of how this thing burst open? I would hate to fix it, only to have to break again.

This is the AIR (air injection reaction) system which is an emissions device that is supposed to increase the efficiency of the catalytic converter.
It sounds like you have one or more bad check valves that has allowed hot exhaust gases in to the AIR supply lines. These lines are not intended to endure high temperatures and as you have found, basically disappear when they do.
Without checking, I do not know if these parts are available in the aftermarket. You could try RockAuto.com as a first step. The dealer will have the parts you require.
