Best bang for your buck is a PCM tune. Do some searching theres a couple companies that do it and many have used them on here.

I`m looking intro this but also thinking an accel super coil.and 8m wires. the coil delivers 8000 more volts. If anything it should help with mileage

Accel products =

Surprising enough the factory coils are equal or better than 99% of the aftermarket. Plug wires however are a nice upgrade but don't expect anything but easier starting. A cdi box (msd 6, streetfire, ect) also helps the spark but again don't expect hp gains from those alone.

I have the PCM programmed, noticeable, but not impressive. I had a cold air intake on but pulled it off, it made noise but nothing for power. the cold air intake tubes were smaller than the factory parts!!(99% of cold air intakes for the s-10s are worse than the factory parts) K&N filter does nothing for power and makes the MAF sensor cranky. Throttle spacer simply moved the torque range up(not good). exhaust(not just muffler) made a bit of a difference, but far from cheap. axle gears were the best by far, but again expensive.

no easy cheap way for power...

ok, now let the "but I have a ***** and I get ***hp from it" start...

X2 dont waste money on any ignition part if you are looking for more power. they can be part of a major upgrade that makes the stock parts inadequate. N2O, turbo, super for example.

Horsepower is created by the engine design itself. You are going to have to go inside (crank, camshaft, pistons, etc.) and that will not be cheap. Remember TANSTAAFL (There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch).

My dad used to say "HP cost money. How fast do you want to go?"

Question You want more horses

Build a better engine by installing a bigger cam or drop in V8.Oh and mod your trans by putting in a shift kit. When I get mine running I`ll let you know how the shift kit works out.
