The IAC (Idle Air Control) is bolted to the intake. Find your air filter, follow the tube from the air filter to the intake. Take the tube off, look on the side of the intake for a wireing harness. Go to Autozone, find the part by filling in your trucks specifics, year, make, model, engine. Search for IAC. Look at the picture of the part and find the same thing on your truck. It will be located close to where the intake tube attaches to the top of the engine. It will have a wiring harness attached. You may have to remove a engine cover to find it.

I dont have software to put arrows on pictures or I would post it up for you.

yea i found it on the side of the throttle plate. its burried and i cant come no where close to the bottom screw. im going to try the seafoam treatment so theres no point in taking it off. i can see the pintle through the air chanel for it in the throttle plate assembly, just looks a little carboned up from the looks of it. why is everything so hard to access on this engine.
