Is there a way to test these? I'm showing trouble codes that seem to indicate faults with these 2 parts... I don't wanna shell out $190 for an EGR valve if it's not really broken.

The electronic EGR valves typically don't go bad, but rather clog. You may want to try removing both the EGR valve and the IAC valve and give them a good cleaning with a sensor safe carb cleaner. An EGR gasket with an integrated screen can be purchased that will reduce the tendancy of carbon deposits from hanging up the EGR valve.
