Idleing Issue 1992 Chevy S10
Hey Everyone, i have a 1992 Chevy S10 and it likes to stall after 10-15 mins of idleing.
Background: A month or so ago, was having an issue with a fuel pump, so I have changed fuel pump, fuel filter, did all new gaskets on the throttle body.
Present: i was driving at the beginning of this weekend, and i had a huge backfire, had trouble accelerating, wasnt getting gas/power, and my truck slowly died and came to a stop, couldnt get it started. I had my mechanically inclinded friend come and meet me, he adjusted the timing, and it started. Drove it home. The next day we did a full tune up, Spark Plugs, Plug Wires, Dist. Cap. And then we timed it. After it runs for about 10 mins or so,it was to stall at a red light. If i give it a big of gas, it keeps it from stalling... Any Ideas of what it could possibly be? Timing needing a little adjustment?
