Default Idler Pulley (Retaining Washer)

Hey everyone, I'm new here but have been in a blazer for quite a while as well as Jimmy before that. I'm getting around to fixing everything on my 03 blazer and am currently having an issue you may be able to help with!

Changing out belt tensioner and idler Pulley. Tensioner is in and now onto the idler. Do I have to reuse this little clip from the old one or can I just cut it off and move the spacer and bolt to the new one? Thanks everyone!

*EDIT* - Well I answered my own question and I'll try to help the next person! I was able to use needle nose pliers as well as a small flathead and pryed the teeth up and was able to use it on the new one. You have to reuse the spacer my finger is on as well as the bolt/washer. After 15 minutes I debated snipping the retaining washer but was able to get it off and reuse. When you put it on the new try and bend the teeth back down but tightening the bolt down will flatten it out. I also changed out the belt tensioner as when I changed my belt last week I started to get a squell every now and then. Then tensioner had a crack on the spring housing and will attach a picture of that too.
