intake manifold gaskets

Greetings;
is there any ways to tell if the intake manifold gaskets have been replaced on a 4.3L?
I appreciate any help or info. Much abliged.

You might be able to tell if they have been upgraded to the Fel-Pro ones with the metal carrier. Check out their website and look at the construction.
