Default Interchangeable transmissions
I have a 2001 S10 Blazer and am wondering if a transmission out of a 1998 would work in it.

nope,as far as i know 01 is a single year. I think there were external computer differences. I may be wrong.

Nope only a 0 through 02 will work.
