a little help please?

Default a little help please?

my 99 2dr blazer v6 4 wheel drive stauled out 3 times yesterday and the check engine light has been on for 3 or 4 days i filled the tank up and it leaked a little but because of the guard over the tank and the fuel pump i dont know if i should change the tank first or the plugs where is the first plug is it hard to get to?


the code are p 0301 and p0440 evap and 1st plug how hard is it to change the plugs ?

Default RE: a little help please?

P0301 - Cylinder #1 misfire. You can follow through the code P0300 Explained thread in the DIY section, but look specifically into causes that could isolate a cylinder (wires, plug, injector, etc).

P0440 - Evaporative Emission Control System. You can use the P0440 Explained thread to help there as well.

The #1 cylinder is the front driver side cylinder and should be pretty straight forward as far as removal goes. I like to go through the wheel well by first removing the tire.
