lucas oil problem

Default lucas oil problem

so i used lucas oil heavy duty additive today with my oil change, now my truck is starting very rough, could it be i used too much oil or is the additive no good, i don't want to wreck anything, it is running good however after start, i did my best to add 1qt or lucas and 3.5 of oil

I run lucas in my diesel 207.000 miles and my toy in my avatar - unknown milage but over 100.000 miles with over 3000 miles since build with nothing but good results

I don't think an additive in the oil would have any effect on how the engine runs. Maybe you pulled a vacuum hose off while you were under the hood, or something similar? Double check that it's not overfilled while you're there, although I'm not sure that would cause a hard start.

Nope.

just a crazy coincidence. look for some loose lines,etc..
