I'd recommend selling your automatic and finding a 2 door 5 speed blazer. I mean anythings possible with time and money but it would be easier and less of a pain to buy a blazer already manual. Thats just my 2 cents.

Ditto

The stock tranny manual or auto is already pretty strong and other then a clutch pack the same tranny found in the fullsizes. As for the t=-case, if your not hard core rock crawling stick witht eh factory unit. Its already light weight and durable.

The conversion if you want to do it.
t-case, move the tranny cross brace, depending on t-case, new rear adapter, linkage, what are you going to do with the cloumn shifter, driveshafts, and lastly teh puter.

Yeah, the best is to find a scraped one that was too badly damaged in an accident. Thats what I did when I converted my 86 fiero to a 4 speed from automatic. You have all the parts inside and out as well as the computer and dash wires for the shift light. The hardest part is running the clutch lines, having a truck that has it all there is just unbolt from one, bolt onto another.
