got the new engine in the truck
but now the truck sounds way heavier...

when i drove it today, it sounded like plenty of rocks knockin in the bottom...
and when driving, i was pushin itto 45mph and it felt like 10mph...
the gears took forever to shift over
lil overheating..
had a friend change the oil and put in transmission fluid...
still drove horribly..

any idea on what the problem could be?

 

Does it feel like you're down a few cylinders? Any SES/CEL?

 

took it back to the shop, and the guy gave me a bad engine....
he's fixing it...no charge....he said the entire engine was bad...
of course i was pissed.

The whole engine was bad? Mechanic: "Oh yeah, you drove off before I could tell you. That was a bad engine, but I am glad you came back!"
