my jimmy starts in reverse but not in park
1996 gmc jimmy 4.3, 4l60e tranny 165,000 miles
I had my tranny rebuilt by a good shop and installed by a not so good shop, it has not started with the shifter in park since. I can start it in reverse and neutral with cable attached to the shifter. Then I disconnect the shift cable and pull it through the gears with no shifter and it still will only start in reverse and neutral is there an adjustment that can be made.
