So I was using simple green to clean under the hood. I came across this...

Hard to tell where in the engine compartment that is... can you back the camera up a bit?

 

well here are some more pix thanx to my iphone and a flashlght... its right below the brake master cylinder







I followed the hose as best I could it it goes behind the brake master cylinder behind the motor and then down out of site.

 

Looks like the cruise control actuator... Not sure why there are two hoses there though...

 

Hmm interesting. Well I dont have cruise control. I will take some more pics after chik fil a.

 

Can you see where the other end of the cable goes?

 

Ok I believe it goes to this ball thing... thats a technical term im sure everyone is use to huh lol




*EDIT* Notice the valve cover? Thats after a few hours of cleaning under the hood with simple green. Love that stuff. Think it may be time to replace those with some bright orange ones huh

 

I meant the cable which the actuator pulls on shown in my attached edit.

 

Oh I thought that was the brake booster?
