Default mysterious randon stalling solved

My 96 blazer had been stalling randomly for the past 10 months. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason for the stalling. It would seen to stall after it would be running for more than 20 minutes under load such as climbing a hill out of town. It finally died at my parents house, where we changed what turned out to be a very clogged fuel filter. After a tow and $430 it was a fuel pump that was shot. The impellers had been worn down to almost nothing.

I thought I would share this in hopes that it might help others solve the same aggravating issues I had.
