Need help getting started
Ok, so yesterday I left work for lunch and my blazer ran fine. I get back to work and 4 hours later I tried to crank and all it would do is just click, click. Two clicks thats it, once when you tried to start and the other click when you let go of the key. I though it was my starter because it has over 195k miles on it and the internals were loose pretty bad.
So today I took my starter out and put the new in...took about 45 minutes to do. Stuck the key in and tried to crank...CLick....Click. I just bought a new battery last December so I'm assuming that it must be good.
Since I got the new starter in and still no crank all I can think of is its either the battery terminal (i had to replace on of those, the positive to be exact) or it could be the ignition switch where you put your key. My truck is stuck at work and I work two jobs. The blazer is my only transportation. Any help will be greatly thanked.

I'm assuming you tried jumping the vehicle just to rule out a dead battery? And checked to make sure the terminals were not loose? My experience has been when this is the case I have NOTHING in the was of power but it's worth five minutes to rule it out.

No, I haven't actually tried to jump it off with another vehicle but I did try a jump box yesterday. Didn't do nothing.
