I have an 83 gmc jimmy with a 2.8L 6 cylinder 2 bl carb. I live in the city and need more get up and go power. How do i make it so i can accelerate faster? Thanks for looking!!

 

swap it out for a 3.4 v6,or a v8. Or spend some money on some lower gears,If you dont understand any of this,leave it be or find a good mechanic. This stuff contains someone who has some good mechanical knowledge. 2.8 is a slug.
